A credit card machine is installed at the place where the credit cards have to be accessed. The credit card is swapped against the machine and the black strip at the back of the credit card is used to transfer information about the credit card. The information transferred from the credit card is :-
- The credit card holder's name.
- The credit card number.
- The credit card expiration date.
- The credit card validity in relation to amount limit.
The credit card machine sends the information to the center for validity checks and a bill is generated with two copies. One copy of the bill is saved with the service provider and the other is given to the credit card holder for reference.
