Be sure to read the fine print on your statement and see the interest rate of a cash advance. It is much higher than the interest rate of regular merchandise purchases and there is no grace period like there is for purchases. Cash advances also require you to pay a fee which is usually anywhere from two to four percent of the amount you have taken off the card. Beware on all of those hidden credit card fees on any credit card you get.
